Boutique offers clothes for kids

GLUCKSTADT — The Kinder Boutique and Jazzy Dancer have brought a variety of hard-to-find clothing for children under one convenient roof.

They specialize in children’s clothes, accessories, shoes, and gifts as well as dance wear and dance accessories.

Owner Sara Sahler said their inventory is appropriate for newborns up to about 14 years old.

Sahler said she founded the business because it was difficult to find clothing for her boys, Gregory, 8, and 4-year-old Grayson.

“It is a struggle to find boys’ clothes,” Sahler said.

Previously, Sahler taught first grade at Madison Station.

“I have always wanted to own a store,” she said. “So I quit teaching and opened this store.”

The Gluckstadt-based business is at 316 Old Jackson Road and they have been in that location since January when they moved from their previous location across the interstate on Dees Road by the Fit Chef.

Sahler has been in business for about three years and has faced several challenges but loves what she does.

“I love helping a parent find that special outfit,” she said. “I love getting to know our customers. I have built relationships and friendships with many of them.”
